A lot of people ask me where I prefer to travel. I tell them that as long as I’m not at work I really don’t care.
Preferably, I like to be near a beach with a cold drink in my hand, but that’s only because I spend 99.5 percent of my time land locked so just sitting by the beach, listening to waves is ideal for me. Other people thrive on adventure and wouldn’t be able to sit still for more than a few minutes.
That’s when people get crazy! They go sky diving, bungee jumping, cliff diving, white water rafting, or anything else you can think of that will get your heart rate up and your adrenaline pumping.
Others might like to see the world by taking a safari in Africa, backpacking though Europe, or kissing the blarney stone in Ireland.
Honestly, none of that stuff is for me, but hey to each his own. When you pay for a vacation and take time off work you want to go on your ideal holiday, not someone else’s. So when you plan your next vacation make sure to do exactly what you want to do. That’s the only way to live without vacation regret.
